Where to submit & appointment

Submission channel and appointment-day guidance

Application form and visa fee: online through GOV.UK. Biometrics and supporting documents: through the selected UK Visa Application Centre in the UAE. Routine Standard Visitor applications are not submitted at the British Embassy.

  1. Take your Pakistani passport / travel document.
  2. Take your UAE residence evidence and Emirates ID.
  3. Take your appointment confirmation and application reference.
  4. Bring any original supporting documents that the appointment instructions ask you to carry, even if copies were uploaded online.
  5. Attend the booked Dubai or Abu Dhabi UK Visa Application Centre and provide fingerprints and a digital photograph.
  6. Check your appointment email for document-scanning, upload or optional service instructions before leaving home.
  7. Arrive early enough for security and check-in, but follow the VAC's stated arrival-time rules.
  8. Keep your appointment receipt and any document-return or passport instructions.

Decision, passport and eVisa guidance

UKVI will process the application after biometrics and document submission. Successful Pakistani visitor applicants generally receive digital immigration status through a UKVI account. Follow the decision email carefully and check whether any passport, eVisa or UKVI account action is required. Do not rely on the Pakistan VAC collection process when the application was submitted in the UAE.
